On this second release, an additional mixer has been integrated into the hardware, implicating further feedback loops and responses. Additionally, this EP includes changes in pedal/effect units used, as part of the ongoing premise of constant shifting in gear for maximum breadth of experimentation. This furthers Integument’s development including exploration into more intricate structures and additional layering, building a sonic craft both abrasive and ambient.

Integument is a project based around no input mixing and hardware manipulation, as a result of partners Matt and Sophie’s experimentation and musing.

As an exploration beyond traditional means of components, Integument seeks to present the broad capabilities by routing gear unto itself, using feedback as a desired trait and finding freedom in the unpredictable nature and technicality of no input mixing.
